Terms and Conditions

1 Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the JG BlueLight Guard Chrome extension (the "Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Extension.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and JGrace ("Developer", "we", "us"), the developer of the Extension, registered in the Republic of Korea.

2 Description of the Extension

JG BlueLight Guard is a Chrome browser extension that reduces blue light emitted from web pages by applying a mathematically precise SVG color-matrix filter. The Extension operates entirely within the user's browser and does not collect, transmit, or store personal data on external servers.

3 Free Trial

• The trial period is 7 calendar days from the date of installation.
• During the trial, all Pro features are fully available at no charge.
• After the trial expires, the Extension automatically reverts to Free mode. Settings are preserved.
• The trial cannot be reset by reinstalling the extension, as the install date is stored in Chrome's local storage.
• One trial per device (browser profile). The trial is non-transferable.

4 Pro License

A Pro license grants the User access to all Pro features of the Extension on a single browser profile (device).

4.1 — License Scope

• Each license key is valid for up to 3 activated devices simultaneously.
• You may deactivate the license from a device (via Advanced → Deactivate device) and re-activate it on another device at any time.
• Sharing, selling, or distributing your license key to third parties is prohibited.

4.2 — License Duration

• The Pro license is a perpetual (lifetime) license — it does not expire after purchase.
• The license covers the current version and all future updates to the Extension.

4.3 — License Activation

• After purchase, a UUID-format license key is delivered to your email by Lemon Squeezy.
• To activate: open the Extension popup → Advanced → paste the key → click Apply.
• Activation requires an internet connection to verify the key with Lemon Squeezy's API.

5 Payment & Billing

All payments for the Pro license are processed by Lemon Squeezy (lemonsqueezy.com), a third-party payment processor. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service.

• Prices are displayed in USD. Your bank may apply currency conversion fees.
• Payment is a one-time charge. There are no recurring subscriptions.
• A receipt is sent to your email by Lemon Squeezy upon successful payment.
• The Developer does not store your credit card or payment information.

6 Refund Policy

6.1 — Eligible Refunds

• The Extension does not function as described on your device after installation.
• A technical issue prevents activation that cannot be resolved by support.
• Request is made within 7 days of the purchase date.

6.2 — Non-Eligible Refunds

• Change of mind after activation and use.
• Requests made more than 7 days after purchase.
• Incompatibility with non-Chromium browsers (the Extension is designed for Chrome and Chromium-based browsers only).

6.3 — How to Request

Email neteacher78@naver.com with your license key and purchase receipt. We aim to process refund requests within 3 business days.

7 License Restrictions

You may not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension beyond what is permitted by applicable law.
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the Extension.
• Redistribute, sell, sublicense, or transfer the Extension or any license key to any third party.
• Use the Extension for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to circumvent the license verification or trial period mechanisms.
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.

8 Intellectual Property

The Extension, including all source code, design, graphics, and associated documentation, is the exclusive intellectual property of JGrace (LEE JEE-HOE) and is protected by applicable copyright laws of the Republic of Korea and international treaties.

The license granted under these Terms is limited and does not transfer any intellectual property rights to the User. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by the Developer.

9 Disclaimer of Warranties

The Extension is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation.
• Compatibility with all websites or future versions of Chrome.
• Specific health outcomes or medical benefits related to blue-light reduction.

The Developer does not warrant that the Extension will be compatible with all hardware configurations, operating systems, or browser versions.

10 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Developer be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.
• Damages arising from the use or inability to use the Extension.

The Developer's total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Pro license within the 12 months preceding the claim.

11 Termination

The Developer reserves the right to terminate or suspend your license if you materially breach these Terms, including but not limited to unauthorized distribution of license keys or circumvention of the licensing system.

Upon termination:

• Your license key will be deactivated.
• You may no longer use Pro features.
• Sections 7, 8, 9, 10, and 13 survive termination.

You may terminate your use at any time by uninstalling the Extension.

12 Changes to Terms

The Developer reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be published at https://jgrace.co.kr/terms.html with a revised "Last updated" date.

Continued use of the Extension after the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

13 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Incheon, Republic of Korea.
